Briefing on the USAID LEAP project in southern Libya

AmCham Libya was pleased to host an online discussion with key members from the USAID-funded Libya Economic Acceleration Project (LEAP) in southern Libya. LEAP, funded by USAID, the U.S. Government international development agency, implemented by Chemonics International, supports private businesses within historically marginalized communities. LEAP partners with local businesses and municipalities across the south of Libya to create economic opportunities, ultimately improving living conditions and laying the grounds for locally driven peace and reconciliation efforts. Topics discussed during the briefing included USAID’s investments in Fezzan through the Libya Economic Acceleration Project, the Fezzan region’s market and opportunities to partner with USAID.
