About AmCham Libya

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business organization representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors and regions. Worldwide, its members include some of the largest multinational corporations that conduct business globally, as well as smaller businesses that are looking to grow their international reach, and which rely on the support of the Chamber to achieve their goal. There are currently 117 international Chambers in 103 countries that are affiliated with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce based in Washington D.C.

As members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, AmChams benefit from innumerable services and privileges. AmChams advance the interests and views of U.S. business overseas, to uphold the highest standards of commercial practice, and to serve as a bridge to communicate the point of view of the U.S. trade partners to the American business public.

AmCham Libya facilitates business between the U.S. and Libya, by providing a forum in which American and Libyan business people can identify and address common areas of commercial interest. It has as its goals the promotion of a vibrant economy, the protection and advancement of the interests of its members, and development of the community as a whole.

The reconstruction of Libya is one of the largest and most important undertakings in the region in recent memory.
