Briefing on AmCham Member Success Stories – East and West

AmCham Libya was delighted to organize a briefing on two success stories from our members. During the briefing we learned about the projects, how the companies involved navigated the Libyan complexities to get to this point, and structured their projects in order to ensure payment reliability.
The first project involves US company Visual Technologies and their client, the NOC Petroleum Research Center – PRC (PRC is the technical arm of NOC, responsible for testing and studies). The project scope includes implementation of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Command Control Center, PRC-based AI large language model (LLM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
The second project involves US company Valley Valmont and their client, the National Development Agency (Sirte-based governmental agency). The project currently consists of an MOU for 1000 center pivot irrigation systems across the southern region of Libya.
Presenters included Habib Sheikh, Managing Partner, Visual Technologies, Eng. Khaled Khalifa Atti, General Manager, PRC and Mamoun Alani, Sales & Business Development Manager, Valmont.
It was an excellent opportunity to learn about some US company successes in Libya.
