Briefing on current U.S. Government initiatives in Libya related to the commercial sector

AmCham was pleased to host an online briefing by AmCham Libya’s Ex-Officio Board Members, Mike LaRocque, Economic and Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy to Libya and Paul Oliva, Senior Commercial Officer and First Secretary for Commercial Affairs, U.S Department of Commerce.

Mike and Paul discussed current U.S. Government initiatives to support U.S. company engagement in Libya, and answered questions from Members.

The briefing was extremely useful to companies that are already engaged in Libya or looking to become active. AmCham members appreciated the opportunity to get an update from the US government representatives who are actively involved on a day-to-day basis supporting U.S. company interests in Libya.
