The American Chamber of Commerce in Libya 2021 Trade Mission

On 21 November, AmCham Libya and Libya-Analysis co-hosted the first American Company Trade Mission to Libya in nine years. The event took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Tripoli and at the offices of the Central Bank. The event brought together delegates from leading US companies (such as Bechtel, Caterpillar, GE and Hill International) and key leadership figures from the Government of National Unity (GNU) and Libya’s major semi-sovereign institutions. The delegation met Libyan stakeholders including the Minister of Economy and Trade, the Head of the PIB, the GNU Special Envoy to the U.S., the CBL Governor, the Chairman of GECOL, the Deputy Minister of Housing and the Chairman of the Housing and Infrastructure Board.
