AmCham Healthcare Workshop in Tripoli

AmCham Libya was pleased to organize the first-ever U.S. Company Healthcare Workshop in Libya. With the participation of some of the world's leading healthcare companies, the workshop aimed to highlight the world-class goods and services these companies provide and to engage closely with key Libyan government stakeholders. U.S. healthcare companies face challenges when they engage in Libya, in particular in the area of payments. AmCham Pavilion at Libya Energy & Economic Summit 2026

AmCham Libya was pleased to organize the Second AmCham Pavilion at the 2026 Libya Energy & Economic Summit (LEES) in Tripoli January 24-26. The 2026 Pavilion built on the success of last year's Pavilion, and was made up of 17 companies, including some of the world's greatest in the energy sector. AmCham was pleased to organize a briefing from AmCham Member Abbott on its groundbreaking artificial heart program in Libya. Abbott, a leading U.S. healthcare company, was pleased to share with AmCham members the recent implementation of its LVAD artificial heart program in Libya.
