Briefing on current U.S. Government initiatives in Libya related to the commercial sector

On July 7, AmCham members received an online briefing from AmCham Libya’s Ex-Officio Board Members, Pedro G. Campo-Boué, Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy to Libya and Keith Kirkham, Regional Senior Commercial Officer, North Africa and the Levant, U.S Department of Commerce.

Pedro and Keith discussed current U.S. Government initiatives to support U.S. company engagement in Libya, and answered questions from members.

In addition, Sonam Liberman, Political Officer at the U.S. Embassy to Libya, gave a presentation on the Global Fragility Act and how it may impact your activities.
