Libyan Healthcare Sector Update

AmCham Libya was delighted to host an online briefing on the Libyan Healthcare Sector. The Libyan Healthcare Sector has experienced a number of significant changes recently including the replacement of the Minister of Health; competing regulatory oversight by the ACA and Audit Bureau; reductions in U.S. supplier contracts; and additional tax burdens. Malak Zarrough from NTM Healthcare provided a comprehensive review, and there was a lively discussion among various AmCham members who are part of the AmCham Libya Healthcare Working Group. We thank our members for their participation and look forward to future initiatives to support our members in the sector.
