Briefing on current U.S. Government initiatives in Libya related to the commercial sector

AmCham was pleased to organize an online briefing from Mike LaRocque, Economic and Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy to Libya. Mike discussed current U.S. Government initiatives to support U.S. company engagement in Libya including an update on Embassy leadership, commercial implications of ongoing Libyan reunification efforts, highlights of the 2026 Investment Climate Statement for Libya and DFC (U.S. Development Finance Corporation) engagement and opportunities in Libya. Mike answered a number of questions from members. As usual, AmCham and its members greatly appreciated hearing from the Embassy and look forward to future interactions.
